ipl kerala team Kochi IPL team - Some Name Suggestions Kochi IPL Team Shailendra Gaikwad group (including Vivek Venugopal) gets Kerala IPL Team Top Bollywood director Priyadarshan and Mollywood superstar Mohanlal plan to start a cricket team from Kerala for the next IPL season, to be titled as 'City Cricketers'. Both the top professionals were friends from their childhood days and used to play together for a local team City Cricketers; Priyan was an opening batsman while Lal was an allrounder. They have roped in Shashi Tharoor, the new Union Minister of State for External Affairs, as the chairman of their team and have the full support of the KCA.
